As part of our Anti-Bullying Week Mrs MacDonald and the School Council held a competition for pupils to design a 'worry box'.

The intention is that each class will have a worry box which children can use to let their teacher or teaching assistant know if they are worried about anything. They can write or draw their worries, or simply write their name so the teacher knows that they want to share a worry or a concern.

Worry boxes are used in many schools throughout the country and have been successful, especially when children are shy or nervous about making the first move in voicing their worries or concerns.

The winning designs will be made into worry boxes to be used in each classroom.
